Easter!

Last year... this is what we were doing...

We were on day 3 of Grace's hospital stay recovering from her palate surgery.

I'm thankful this year is so much different!

So far (and it's only 9 am on Easter morning) Grace has eaten no less than 2 lbs of candy over the last 24 hours.

When she opened that first plastic egg yesterday morning and discovered there was CANDY in there...

She realized she better hurry up and get some more of these eggs!

Easter Eggstravaganza at our church yesterday with 170 kids coming to hear the Easter story and hunt for some eggs.

By 7 am this morning, Easter baskets were picked through, eggs were found and MORE candy was eaten.

There might be a little too much sugar energy in the pew later on this morning. uh oh.

I sit here writing a blog post, as four my family members have breakfast with family.

One child decided Easter was a good time to get sick. So, he is in confinement and I am playing warden. You can probably guess which of the four is sick, since he is strangely missing from each and every picture here.

HE HAS RISEN! What a glorious day!
